The great balance of life is not in identical mirrored sides but in embracing both ends of the same spectrum.
Josiah wanted to explore the ancient concept of Yin and Yang through the anatomical lens of two distinct snake skeletons trailing down both arms, each following its own unique rhythm to express the light and shadow inside all of us.
Together, we brought out the dual energies across two contrasting sides:
The Shadow Side (Yin): A darker, deeply shaded snake skeleton coiled in mystery, inlaid with clusters of Golden Sun moths; a study in intuition and inner transformation.
The Light Side (Yang): A delicate, luminous skeleton surrounded by Luna moths, a move towards clarity and the warmth of daylight.
By allowing each arm to tell its own distinct story while remaining part of a unified whole, he transformed the trails into a living story of balance; that night and day can co-exist together in equilibrium and harmony.
